I'm anxious to try out my news skills after purchasing you video e-book. It was wonderful! Thank you!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5440911019771690535.post-86008017441996419042010-09-23T18:01:59.694-06:002010-09-23T18:01:59.694-06:00Vicki, what a wonderful comment! Thank you!

As far as 2x2 rib goes, it invisible ribbed bind-off is different if you're going to be doing 2x2 rib, and it doesn't look quite as good. However, I'm such a fan of the 1x1 bind-off that I use it on almost everything.

I'm so excited that you're going to try cables! I'm working on an e-book right now teaching people how to do cables, based on my Bulky Cabled Legwarmers pattern. It's easier than it looks!

If you want to learn the 2x2 rib bind-off, let me know and I'll post a video to my blog!

LiatLiathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02986060159378396506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5440911019771690535.post-19170987385546963962010-09-22T15:45:35.211-06:002010-09-22T15:45:35.211-06:00Oh Lait, I purchased your video e-book on how to k...Oh Lait, I purchased your video e-book on how to knit two at a time socks on circular needles. I took a class several years ago and learned how to knit socks with DPs and then a friend taught me how to knit them (one at a time) on a circular needle. She moved away and I haven't made any for several years. I didn't have a pattern and didn't trust my memory to try it on my own. Your e-book has given me the confidence to try it again and I must say it's MUCH better than taking a class. Your instructions are so clear and I love the videos. I also discovered that I think toe up socks are much easier and I never have to worry about running out of yarn.

One question: I usually do a 2X2 rib on my socks and would like to try cables. Is the invisible ribbed bind-off the same whether doing 1X1 or 2X2 and can I use the same technique if I get brave enough to try cables?

Please continue to do what you're doing!
